Change of Colors.

I have spent the past two weeks working with Coach Torres at the Metea Valley Wrestling camp. It has been a weird experience to say the least. Taking a back seat has been a change that I have enjoyed. The business and administrative side of coaching was never my favorite. The kids here have welcomed me and listen to what I have to offer. I ran practice yesterday in Coach's absence and we didn't skip a beat. These guys work hard and I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of such a young program. We are young and talented...similar to what I left in Plano, which is good because we should and could go in a very positive direction very quickly....just like Plano.
I recently heard that Jose Villarreal will be taking over the program at Plano. I think he will do an outstanding job. He has been my lead technician over the past three years and I owed him a great deal to the success over that time period. His brother Ruben and Joe Kampf will round out his staff from what I hear and I can say that it will be harder to find a better staff in that conference. I wish them nothing but the best.

I will continue posting on this site, drills and videos that I have found helpful or just fun to watch. Thank you to all who have checked in on this blog. It has been a lot of fun to maintain. More content soon.
