We still have T-shirts available. They are the 19-2 gray shirts. We have every size except for large.
I also wanted to share a few of my thoughts on the NCAA's from this past weekend. I was able to DVR both the medal matches and the championship matches. I have yet to finish the medal matches but have watched all of the championship bouts. I was hoping for some closer matches but was impressed with a few of the dominating performances. Congratulations to Penn State and Coach Cael Sanderson for winning the team National Championship. In an interview he stated that he had always wanted to be a part of a national championship team. It only took him 2 years as head coach of Penn State to accomplish that goal. He has been someone that I have admired since my college days watching him win 4 individual National Championships. I have even greater respect for him now that I know his desire for a team title.
I felt that the 125# match was amazing. I know that there are those that are saying that Robles had a strength advantage because he had an extra 30 pounds of muscle in his upper body because of him missing a leg. Yes he was stronger but HE WAS MISSING A LEG. Legs are usually pretty important when wrestling. I give him all the credit in the world.
I though Jordan Burroughs performed amazingly as well. Burroughs from Nebraska won his second National Title in deciding fashion. He was simply dominate.
I was pleased to see that the IL schools brought back 5 All Americans. In order to earn All American honors you must place in the top 8. Northwester University brought home 3 medal winners including Brandon Precin who took 3rd for the second time in his career. The University of Illinois also brought home 2 medal winners in BJ Futrell and Jimmy Kennedy. Both IL high school guys along with Precin. Overall it was a fun tournament to watch. I encourage my guys to look for some of the videos online. It is always fun to watch wrestling at its finest.
